1. MFMA Scholarship

Due Date: July 14, 2023

Prize Amount: $1,000

Who is this prize for? Scholarships for students in the following fields of study: Architecture, Forest Management, Forest Products Technology, Forest Science, Forestry Studies, Wood Science & Engineering, Wood Science & Technology, other fields related to wood technology, or studying a trade that translates to the wood flooring industry.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) offers five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for secondary, advanced, or trade school education. Applicants will be considered based on academic achievement, field of study, and written essay responses.

2. Sutliff & Stout Diversity in Law Scholarship Contest

Due Date: July 28, 2023

Prize Value: $1,500

Who is this prize for? Scholarships for Law, Scholarships for Minorities, Scholarships for Diversity, Scholarships for Paralegals, Scholarships for African American Students, Scholarships for Hispanic students, Scholarship for Asian American students. This award is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited law school or paralegal program.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: Sutliff & Stout, Injury & Accident Law Firm is proud to sponsor a nationwide scholarship contest for minorities pursuing a legal career. According to ABA’s National Lawyer Population Survey, only 12 percent of active attorneys identify as Hispanic or Latino, African American, or Asian.

To do our part towards promoting diversity within the legal profession, we are offering an annual $1,500 minority scholarship to be put towards legal education costs.

3. The CHSCF Scholarship

Due Date: July 15, 2023

Prize Value: Two awards of $1,000 each

Who is this prize for? Scholarships for Health, Scholarships for Students with Cancer, Scholarships for High School Students. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors accepted to a higher education institution in 2023.

4. ABC Humane Wildlife Women in STEM Academic Scholarship

Due Date: July 1, 2023

Prize Value: $1,000

Who is this prize for? Scholarship for Women in STEM. Undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to apply. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university within the United States.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: At ABC Wildlife, we believe diversity is critical in every scientific field from biology to chemical engineering.

Who is this prize for? Scholarships for LGBTQ Students, Scholarships for Aviation, Scholarships for Pilots.

Who is this prize for? Scholarships for Veterinary School. 

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: Walkin’ Pets is dedicated to providing the best products to serve aging, disabled, and injured pets. Each year Walkin’ Pets sponsors a scholarship program to honor tomorrow’s miracle workers and the future impact they will make in the veterinary community.
