1. Coca-Cola Scholars Program for High School Seniors

Deadline: October 2, 2022

Prize Value: 150 Scholarships will be awarded at $20,000 each

Who is this prize for? Open to high school seniors or home-schooled students graduating in the 2023-2024 academic year. Open to high school students planning to attend an accredited college or university.

From the Scholarship Donor’s Website: The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

2. Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Disability Scholarship Program

Deadline: October 1, 2023

Prize Value: $1,000

Who is this prize for? This college scholarship program is for for disabled students. Recipient must have attended college for at least one semester and be a United States citizen.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: The Buckfire Law Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for the 2023 Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Disability Scholarship. The Disability Scholarship was established in 2014 as part of the law firm’s commitment to helping students with disabilities or injuries who are in need of financial assistance for educational purposes. The scholarship is available to students of any age, with any type of disability, including but not limited to physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental or psychiatric conditions, speech and language, learning disabilities, behavioral conditions, and all other conditions.

3. VFW Voice of Democracy Scholarship for High School Students

Deadline: October 31, 2023

Prize Value: Various prizes ranging from $1,000 to $35,000

Who is this prize for? This scholarship is open to students in grades 9 to 12.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: Established in 1947, our Voice of Democracy audio-essay program provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.  Each year, nearly 25,000 ninth through 12th grade students from across the country enter to win their share of more than $1.3 million in educational scholarships and incentives awarded through the program.

4. Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship

Deadline: October 1, 2023

Prize Value: Various prizes between $1,500 and $10,000. Plus, 10 paid internships

Who is this prize for? This is a scholarship for BIPOC students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math)

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: We recognize the value and advantages of diverse ideas within our communities. We are committed to providing a platform to support the next generation of leaders and champions in our industry, and we are focused on growing diversity within the science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) fields. The Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship will contribute to the creation of a critical mass of talented students that will fully represent our industry—it will provide an environment in which all can thrive academically and professionally. 

5. AES Scholarships for 2023

Deadline: October 8, 2023

Prize Value: $500

Who is this prize for? This annual scholarship is available to all students attending a post-secondary institution. This includes current high school students who will be college freshman in the upcoming academic year.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

6. American Trucks’ Student Scholarship Program

Deadline: October 15, 2023

Prize Value: Two awards of $2,500 each

Who is this prize for? Eligible students must be currently enrolled in full-time studies in a two- or four-year college or university program. This award is open to students pursuing a traditional building trade. Additionally, students attending high school may apply for this scholarship if attending an accredited school in the upcoming academic year.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: At AmericanTrucks we are passionate about our mission to Serve the Community that supports us. We’ve recognized a growing trend in the building trades industry. Educational programs are receiving a lot of attention from national leaders and it’s our goal to be involved in a meaningful way. With that in mind, we are pleased to offer 2 x $2500 scholarships to students pursuing a career in the traditional building trades such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, or related fields of study.

7. CouponBirds “Help to Save” Scholarship

Deadline: October 10, 2023

Prize Value: Three prizes at $500, $1,000, and $1,500

Who is this prize for? This is a scholarship for high school seniors and current college students in the United States and Canada. Students must attend an accredited university or college in the upcoming academic year.

8. Broadcast Education Association College Scholarships

Deadline: October 13, 2023

Prize Value: Various amounts from $1,000 to $4,000

Who is this prize for? Several college scholarships are available for two- and four-year programs in electronic media, radio/audio media, and broadcast history.

From the Scholarship Provider’s Website: The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is the premier international academic media organization, promoting insights, excellence in media production, and career advancement for educators, students, and professionals.  BEA administers scholarships annually, to honor broadcasters and the entire electronic media profession.  The BEA Founders Awards are for students enrolled in a BEA 2-Year member institution or graduates of these programs now enrolled in a BEA 4-Year institution.  Other scholarships are awarded to juniors, seniors and/or graduate students at BEA member institutions.

9. Money Metals Exchange Scholarship Program

Deadline: October 31, 2023

Prize Value: There are two undergraduate student and two graduate student prizes ($1,000 and $2,000)

Who is this prize for? This scholarship is open to all students who will be enrolled in a college or university program in 2023. Applicants must submit an essay answering one of a selection of scholarship essay prompts.

Who is this prize for? Students majoring in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, safety or industrial hygiene programs. Applications are accepted from undergraduate students planning to attend graduate school.
