There’s a Scholarship for Every Student

And, here’s the great thing. It doesn’t matter if you have perfect grades or an outstanding extracurricular activities profile. While these things help, they’re not necessary for every scholarship.

The key is understanding how you match with various types of scholarships. From there, you can focus your attention on finding scholarship opportunities that match best with your profile. For example, there are merit scholarships based on GPA or SAT/ACT scores, need-based scholarships, career-specific scholarshipsschool-specific scholarships, student-specific scholarships, and more. As you may be able to tell, each of these scholarships focus on awarding different aspects of a student’s profile.

To get a sense of what a scholarship committee might be looking for, always read the mission and eligibility requirements of a scholarship. These two things alone will help you to position your scholarship application in a way that aligns with the mission of that scholarship.

So, now that you know what to look for when researching scholarships, let’s get to the prizes!
